Born in Sri Lanka but based in London JOEY LEWIS has been involved with music from a very young age. At fourteen, upon a large scaffolding on stage he sang the Nimal Mendis song “What is a man” for a show by the late Mr. Manik Sandrasagra. He later went on to form the highly successful Amazing Grace who performed here and abroad especially on the continent of Europe. In the recent past he had a tour in Australia performing to vast crowds and appeared at the Galadari lakeside where he will be performing once more. He will be touring Australia again. When Joey was here last month he got together with Nimal Mendis and his son Paul-Marie and the result was the same song he sang at fourteen recorded now in SINHALA. They are working together to bring about many more innovative tracks.
